Scan, Score, Done.

Create a judging system in 2 minutes.

The concept is simple: users scan a QR code with their phones and start submitting scores. The results then become instantly available for organizers to use and determine winners.

A modern voting experience built to move events past paper ballots.

FAQ

Clear answers before your first event.

InstaJudge is a digital judging platform designed for scientific conferences, academic events, and professional competitions. Organisers set up an event in minutes, define scoring criteria, and share unique QR codes or private links with judges or attendees. Judges score directly from their phones with no app download required. Results are calculated in real time and available the moment the last score is submitted.

No. InstaJudge is fully browser-based. Judges and voters open a link or scan a QR code and score directly in their phone or tablet browser. There is nothing to install, no account to create, and no password to remember.

InstaJudge is used at medical congresses, academic poster sessions, PhD meetings, scientific conferences, startup pitch competitions, and professional award ceremonies. Any event that requires structured, fair, and efficient judging of multiple entries by one or more evaluators is a good fit.

InstaJudge offers three modes. Panel Judging assigns named judges to specific entries with private links and full per-judge tracking. Audience Scoring lets the entire room score anonymously using a single shared QR code. Pick the Winner is a simple favourite-selection format ideal for crowd-voted awards. All modes support single or multiple scoring criteria.

Every event you create includes 30 free votes, enough to test the platform end-to-end at no cost. Beyond that, InstaJudge is pay-as-you-go with no monthly subscriptions or setup fees. You top up your account once and the votes are yours to use across any event, anytime. Volume discounts apply automatically, so the more votes you purchase, the lower the per-vote cost. Your balance never expires.

Never. Votes you purchase are added to your account balance and remain there for as long as you have an account. Whether you run one event next month or six events over the next two years, your balance is always available. This is especially useful for conference organisers and societies that run recurring events — you can stock up during a busy season or take advantage of volume pricing without worrying about losing unused votes.

Yes. The organiser dashboard shows live progress for every judge, including how many entries they have scored and how many remain. You can send reminder nudges directly from the dashboard and see results updating in real time as scores come in.

Scores are tallied automatically as they are submitted. There is no manual data entry, no spreadsheet, and no waiting period. As soon as the final judge submits, the ranked results are ready to share. You can export a full results report to Excel at any point during or after the event.

Yes. InstaJudge has been used at events with over 2,000 poster submissions and dozens of simultaneous judges, including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists World Congress. The platform handles multiple parallel judging tracks, large judge panels, and high submission volumes without any degradation in performance.
